The Pellatz Family homesteaded north of Bill Wyoming in 1917 and have been in the area for the past four generations and still run on part of the original homestead. In the early 2000s Chuck and Danette started selecting for genetics that allow a cow to survive on the native forage of the area with no other supplemental feed. We take pride in the way we humanely raise and handle our livestock.  We believe that it is important to be good stewards of the land, we utilize planned grazing to move our livestock from pasture to pasture making sure that we keep the land healthy and not overgrazed, as well as to make sure that they have adequate feed. We raise our beef hormone free and only use the necessary antibiotics to help prevent and treat illness.

It is important for us to know where our food comes from.

 

We want to provide a product that you know where it comes from and is the best quality we can offer. Back in 2015 we began selling our beef by the halves and wholes. In 2025 we had the opportunity to sell our beef by the cut packages at the local Farmers Market store in Douglas Wyoming.
